Take Home Library books were sent home recently for K – 3 students. The intention of the Take Home Library sends books with your child to give him/her books that are easily read and enjoyed. However, if you feel they are too easy or your child is struggling to read them, please send a note back with their Take Home Library books. We’ll be happy to make any changes necessary.
Participation is completely voluntary so if you or your student don’t want to participate, just let us know.
Also, to clear up some confusion, you can keep the books as long as you need to (a day, a week, etc) or they can be returned daily for a new book. You will only be charged a fine if you lose the book or never bring it back. If you’ve had a book out for an extended amount of time, we may contact you to make sure it hasn’t been misplaced.
