Counseling Services

Renaissance Academy strives to meet the educational needs of all our students and any additional needs which may affect their learning. It has been our experience that often a “third” person, who is not as emotionally close to the student as a parent would be, can be a good “sounding board” for a student and his/her problems. The role of the counselor is just that: a student’s advocate and listening ear. While it is not within the realm of a school counselor to work with a student on an extended basis, we would be very happy to meet with him/her.
