Dawn Lee

2nd Grade Chinese Immersion

你好 (ni hao)! I am Ms. Lee. I grew up in Taiwan, so Chinese is my mother tongue. I love my language, especially the characters! I remembered my birthday wishes were all about books when I was young. I even enjoyed reading the information on the shampoo bottles when I took a shower. With my passion for Chinese language, I decided to study Chinese Literature at National Taiwan Normal University, the very first teacher college in Taiwan. In the last 5 years I taught at elementary schools, middle schools, and colleges, sharing my language and culture with students around the world.

I love reading, playing the piano, and traveling in my leisure time. Meeting new people and learning from different cultures are always fascinating. I have been to Asia (of course), North America, Central America and Europe. I am excited to explore more about the Beehive State.

Can't wait for a new school year with your kids at Renaissance!
