Renaissance Academy opened in 2006 and has been a favorite in the area from the beginning. We are a public charter school located in Lehi, Utah. Our language program consists of Chinese-immersion, Arabic, and Spanish, with a lot of our language teachers being native speakers. In Kindergarten students are taught each of the three languages we offer; Students then choose which language to continue in their subsequent years. Our curriculum involves a rotating schedule, which involves students switching classrooms and teachers for specialty classes such as our Space Academy, music, art, and others. Doing so removes the static classroom atmosphere that most other schools host.

The Space Academy mentioned above is a program built into our curriculum. It takes students on a virtual adventure filled with problems to be solved as a team, math, science, and other life skills. It is not only part of the curriculum for each grade, but is also offered as an after-school activity.

We open our lottery for all students (new and returning) in January, but don’t run the lottery until March. Siblings are given sibling-preference. For more information on our lottery, please click here.
