Tell us about yourself!

I grew up in Southern California. I graduated from BYU with in Early Childhood Education with a dual certificate to teach Kindergarten through 8th grade. I was a missionary in the Philippines for over a year. After graduating from college, I married my husband and we have lived in Utah since. I have 4 adult children. I have been teaching for 12 years. This is the beginning of my 10th year at Renaissance Academy as a Kindergarten teacher. I love adventurous activities like ziplining, repelling, rollercoasters. Also, I love to travel with my husband, especially to the National Parks.

Science and math

What do you love most about education?

I love seeing a child's face light up and their excitement when they learn or discover something new. I also love seeing the growth and progress students make each year.
