I grew up in Utah. I'm married and we have 2 boys. I love the Disney theme parks and worked at Disney world in 2013. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, paddle boarding, and rock climbing. I also like to do home DIY projects and painting.

I love having the opportunity to help teachers and students problem solve and develop life long skills.

Megan Platt is new to Renaissance Academy this year and is excited to be here. She has been working in schools for about 8 years and has a passion for problem solving and fostering student’s independent skills. 

Ms. Platt graduated from Utah Valley University in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and a minor in Autism Studies. She later attended Arizona State University and in 2021 graduated with a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has 4 years of experience working as a special education teacher, which is a position she has loved and has given her a strong understanding of how to advocate for students with diverse needs and help them find success in school. 

Outside of school Ms. Platt loves spending time with her family and friends, hiking, watching movies, and taking trips to the Disney parks when she can. She can also be found being creative; painting, or working on a home decor project.
