Tell us about yourself!

I spent most of my childhood in Southern California. I graduated from Arizona State University. I have taken many classes about early childhood development and benefit immensely from continual acquisition of new knowledge.  I encourage my students to be lifelong learners too. 

I appreciate my time spent with family and friends.  I love bargain shopping, antique shopping, and buying cute little shirts for my dogs.  When time allows, I also enjoy visiting museums to learn about history and culture.  Some of my other hobbies are reading, gardening, and crochet.

What is your favorite subject to teach? 

My favorite subject to teach is reading comprehension.

What do you love most about education?

I love being able to be a part of a student's achievement. I love facilitating educational growth and contributing to those 'lightbulb moments'.
