Tell us about yourself!

I grew up in Utah, but have also lived in Las Vegas and Maine. I have lived in Lehi for 24 years. I have been married to my sweetheart for 29 years and met my husband in elementary school. We grew up in the same neighborhood and share the same birthdate. I have four children, three of them attended Renaissance Academy. I love to cook, read, garden, travel, and try new things. My favorite trip was to Peru where I helped repair a hydroponic greenhouse for an orphanage and met some wonderful people.

What is your favorite subject to teach? 

I can't choose just one. I love to teach Science, English Language Arts, and Math

What do you love most about education?

I love seeing children "get-it" for the first time. Watching them get excited about something new or realizing that they could do something they didn't think they could do is why I love teaching!
