Tracy Scott

Reading Specialist, ELL

Tracy Scott is the Reading Specialist at Renaissance Academy. She works with teachers, students, and aides to find the best strategies to help each student reach their reading goals. The Reading Program is in its third year at the school, and students are improving in their skills.

Mrs. Scott received her B.S. from BYU in Sociology and History.  She later received her English endorsement and taught middle school English at Renaissance Academy for eight years. She has been part of the school since its inception. Mrs. Scott received her Reading endorsement from BYU 2011 and got her Level II Reading endorsement from SUU in 2013. She has a great love of reading and has a desire to see all students reading at grade level.

Mrs. Scott lives in Pleasant Grove, UT. She is the mother of five children, four daughters and a son, who are all grown up. She is also a grandmother to six grandsons…her precious gems!  In her spare time she enjoys reading (of course), needle work, and baking. She has loved the time she has spent at Renaissance and looks forward to continued association with the school.
