Hello! I am Ms. Qiu. I hold a Masters’ Degree in Applied Linguistics from the United Kingdom. This is my seventh year of teaching from Beijing China, Victoria Australia and now in Utah, United States. I have been in Utah since 2019 and love the great outdoors that Utah has to offer. I was born in Ningbo, China, which is close to Shanghai. We have the oldest library in China called Tianyi Pavilion, which has a collection that went back to the 11th century of the Confucian classics. I miss all the variety of delicious seafood and barbecue in Ningbo. I love spending time biking, skiing, hiking, traveling, and I like to play the Guzheng, a Chinese traditional plucked zither, with the Utah Chinese Folk Orchestra. I am looking forward to teaching you Chinese and have some fun!
